Believe it or not, it has been 10 years since the release of Bruce Soord of The Pineapple Thief released his self-titled debut album, in honour of this Kscope are releasing a half speed remaster, of the original. It was worked on at Abbey Road Studios and will be on sale from today (30^th May)

Our host Billy Reeves went to visit Bruce in his studio to hear about how he feels about the record a decade later and who he sites as supporting him along the way, plus there is a podcast exclusive acoustic performance from Bruce.

To coincide with the release of the Envy Of None album “Stygian Wavs”, our host Billy Reeves hears from Singer and lyricist Maiah Wynne about her thought processes and influences when writing and recording new work, and some sage advice for fellow women in the music industry.

We also caught up with guitarist Alex Lifeson, this is where you will find out where the album title and indeed the band name came from and how his style has evolved.

 

Overall we learn how the band came to be and how it is growing from strength to strength as they learn how each other work.
