Episode 33 - The Prog Awards

The inaugural Prog awards a few weeks back at Kew Gardens was a big deal, it was even featured on BBC TV news, all the great and the good were there – including your genial pod-host Billy Reeves! This edition of the podcast celebrates this historic night. We’ll hear from award-winners Steven Wilson, Anathema, and the magazine’s founder and editor Jerry Ewing. In attendance were members of Genesis, Yes, Jethro Tull, Opeth & ELP among many others – we congratulate Prog Magazine for a superb evening. We were delighted that many Kscope artists and records were nominated and picked up gongs.

We’ll hear tunes from Gazpacho (nominated in the ‘New Blood’ category) Anathema (winners of ‘Best Live Event’) and Steven Wilson (winner of ‘Guiding Light’) – as well as something new from Nosound – from their ‘At The Pier’ E.P., featuring Chris Maitland (ex Porcupine Tree) on drums.
