This time, we concentrate on the new album from Nosound: Afterthoughts.
Nosound’s creative fulcrum Giancarlo Erra has been not only writing and arranging his best music so far: but has also been busy recruiting. Porcupine Tree fans will be interested to hear Chris Maitland on drums on this new Nosound album.
You’ll hear Billy Reeves's interviews with both: Chris talks us through his love of glam rock, how to make half-time grooves sound faster, and how to smuggle double bass-drums into the orchestra pit of London’s biggest west end musicals, and Giancarlo takes us on a journey to Rome and back and explains how to find beauty in sadness, and sadness in beauty.
PLUS! A preview from Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) / Jonas Renkse (Katatonia)’s ‘Wisdom of Crowds’ album. (www.KscopeMusic.com/WisdomOfCrowds)

Hi, welcome back to Kscope the Post-progressive Podcast.
Porcupine Tree’s‘The Incident’ was their biggest album to date, top 30 in the USA AND the UK, and it was the band’s biggest tour to date… so here’s a live document of that tour; ‘Octane Twisted’from your chums at Kscope.
And this isn’t just any old live album: it’s the whole of ‘The Incident’, plus some old friends and PT classics; grown, transmorgrafied from the studio versions…to take us through this process and to point us towards their personal highlights is drummer Gavin Harrison and synth manipulator Richard Barbieri.
D’y you want to know which tracks changed the most? If winter’s the best time to write songs? And whether there will there be another Porcupine Tree album anytime soon..?? And hear tracks from the album ahead of the release??? Then listen here. It’s awesome.
Hello and welcome back to Kscope, The Post Progressive Podcast.
Steven Wilson, the barefoot prince of prog, never stops. Here's the first of two live albums coming out on Kscope.
Firstly, it’s the solo band, recorded live in Mexico, for the 3 disc concert film/album ‘Get All You Deserve’. Steven spoke to us exclusively about not only this album, but also the plans for the new solo studio LP. Plus, listen out for details of the new Porcupine Tree live album...
Hi, welcome back to Kscope the Post-progressive Podcast.
New from The PineappleThief - 'All The Wars' - their most expansive album to date. Bruce Soord is TPT's songwriter, guitarist and studio auteur so he's lived with this album a long time - from writing through the demo process to the sudden jump to Peter Gabriel's studio and orchestral additions in Prague.
Time for some reflection then with your genial host Billy Reeves, who caught up with Bruce as the band gear up for touring. As The Pineapple Thief get bigger and more ambitious with their music away from the cocoon of their own studio we wondered if this would bring a different set of challenges for the band; not a bit of it. This is a glorious record and TPT are bound for glory...
